In the days following he sat under the tutelage of the Rev. Fred Thomas III, who mentored him in the Word of God.  It was during that time he would become a Deacon at the age of twenty-one.  Apostle Curtis Nunn served faithfully as a Deacon for four years and shortly thereafter God called him to the Pastorate ministry.  In April of 1986, the Lord spoke and said, “Go forth and preach My Gospel to the Nations.”  In September of 1987, Apostle Curtis Nunn was installed into his first pastorate.  In 1988, God spoke to Apostle Nunn about leaving the Baptist denomination and moving forth into the spirit filled charismatic movement and the teaching of the Word of Faith.  That’s when “No Greater Love Sanctuary of Praise Family Worship Center” was birth.  Apostle Curtis and Prophetess Cynthia Nunn labored and served faithfully for six years. 

In August of 1994, after much prayer and wise counsel, the Lord instructed Apostle Nunn to end his work in Brenham.  God led them to Pastor Dana Carson, where they submitted their gifts, talents and their treasures and served faithfully for five years.  

Desiring to fulfill his God given purpose and destiny on his life, in 2000 he heeded to the call of God to return to pastoral leadership.  Now Apostle Curtis Nunn is the Senior Pastor and founder of Restoration Christian Ministries, Int’l here in Austin, Texas.  Restoration Christian Ministries, Int’l is a thriving ministry that strives to reach all who will be reached through the ministry of Restoration.  Since Apostle Nunn is a STRONG believer of covenant relationships, he submitted the ministry under the covering of Bishop L.A. Wilkerson from its inception in January 2000 when they started their first bible study.  Bishop Wilkerson is the Pastor of the Agape Christian Ministries in Austin, Texas and the Apostle of the A.F.C. Agape Family of Churches.  Apostle Curtis Nunn was consecrated as an Apostle in October 2006 by his Overseer: Bishop L.A. Wilkerson.

Being a man of vision and always sensitive to the move of God’s spirit, Apostle Nunn has declared that this ministry will be a place where people have Kingdom purpose.  Apostle Nunn believes that Restoration is a family of distinction where we are raising up men of valor that will be priest, prophets and kings.  They will be restored to their rightful place in God’s Kingdom.  Therefore, it is the mandate of Apostle Nunn to develop effectively functioning people, families and communities in the body of Christ throughout the world to fulfill their God give purposes.  Apostle Nunn is committed to taking God’s word to the lost, the hurting, the broken hearted and the downtrodden.  His destiny is to instill into God’s people the ministry of “CANS”.  They are as follow:

ynthia Nunn is a native of Brenham, Texas. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 26 years. They are the proud parents of three beautiful children.

Cynthia has always had a passion to see people succeed. She strives on her ability to help people -- especially children. Early in life she was taught that you could succeed if you believe. First, you must believe in God and then in your dreams. Dreams were given to cause us to pursue and believe until they come true. Desiring to reach all who would be reached, Cynthia had a great desire to obtain a place on secular radio to inject a balanced perspective on relevant life issues through self-awareness.

In 1999, Cynthia birthed R.I.S.E. (Relating Issues and Stimulating Expectations) out of a passion that she had to reach and speak to people where they are, thereby leading them in a real candid manner to elevate their thinking. God opened the door of opportunity and a vacancy became available at KAZI 88.7 FM for a radio talk show host. For the past five years Cynthia has been the host of this thriving radio program called R.I.S.E. R.I.S.E. is not limited to discussions of race, sex, class, secular issues or religion. All areas of life are discussed. R.I.S.E. can be heard every Monday morning on KAZI, the voice of Austin 88.7 FM from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Cynthia is also the founder of an annual women’s event formerly known as “HATS OFF” now called the “R.I.S.E. Conference.”

Cynthia is a dynamic speaker and has spoken to churches, educational groups, youth, children, civic and community organizations. She brings a warm, balanced caring persona to her listeners. She provokes you to think about everyday situations in a more practical way. She reveals the obvious that is sometimes missed because we refuse to look at what is right before us.

Cynthia has a B.S Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialty in Early Childhood Education. It is her ambition to inspire teachers and leaders, encouraging them to dream and experience self-empowerment that will positively influence them to influence their families, friends and peers.

Cynthia’s destiny is to instill into people the idea that they “can”. You can be what you believe that you can be. You can have the best in life. You can change. You can succeed. You can reach your place called there. Truly she believes in R.I.S.E. Anything that is down can go up. Anything that goes up can always go higher. So, the time is now to R.I.S.E.
